The jobs available here
involve anything and everything that
you like to do. Please take time to read the notes
on the following pages and complete the application. Let us
know what you want to do and we will craft a job around the
types of fun things that you would do if you were at camp.
All types of jobs are available. Camp
Stewart is like a small city during the summer. Everybody that it takes to support
the activities of Camp are hired each summer. You will live on camp and be paid
as well as provided room and board and clothes.
The dining hall requires all the same
personnel as a large restaurant. Jobs include dishwashers, pot scrubbers, bakers,
prep cooks, head waiters and dining hall managers.
You can imagine the sports, camp craft,
ceramics, riflery, archery, waterfront, rock climbing, hiking, nature, and horseback
staff that is needed. Now think of other areas that might interest children
from 6 to 16. If you are interested we are interested.
I will make every effort to
find the perfect summer job for you. I can arrange work visas and other necessary
documents. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call
or e mail. You are always welcome to visit our camps.
We offer several opportunities
to get acquainted with
the old staff including Alumni functions and Easter
Retreats. If you are interested in attending please e-mail and let me know.
