A Texas Hill Country Tradition Since 1924. Camp Stewart is available for conferences and retreats. Stewart is located on the North Fork of the Guadalupe River and offers deluxe private accommodations for groups of up to 30 and dorm style for up to 500.
Stewart is a large camp with extensive recreational facilities, over 550 spectacular acres and more than a mile of the Guadalupe River.
While there are many fine conference centers and lodges in the Texas Hill Country, the things that set Stewart apart are the first class individualized service, excellent food, the ability to provide both deluxe and dorm-style accommodations, exclusive use of the entire facility for most groups. and the abundance of programming available all offered in an incomparable setting.

Recreation
On-site recreational opportunities abound at Stewart and are all conveniently located with equipment readily available. These include the waterfront for swimming, canoeing, and fishing; nature trails through the hills and along the river for hiking, jogging and wildlife viewing; 4 lighted tennis courts, indoor basketball court, volleyball, two hole golf course, table tennis, softball. All of these activities are offered for no additional charge as part of each group package.
Additionally, other activities are available on a custom basis for an additional charge and include:
horseback riding, adventure programming (rock climbing, rappelling, climbing wall, challenge course, golf (at Riverhill Country Club in Kerrville), archery, riflery, pistol shooting, skeet shooting, mountain biking (bikes, helmets, trails and guides, are all available), and fly fishing (instruction and equipment). The entire West Kerr County area is a prime location for "getting away and doing things" and we do have the equipment, experience, guides, and land access to help you do just that with a minimum of hassle.
